SGH: A brief history

We're passionate golfers, travellers and entrepreneurs.

SGH Sports Events was formed in 2014 and combines the shared passion and experience of golf entrepreneurs Simon Hurd and Andrew Jennings.
Striving to provide the very best in sports excursions, the two directors have over a decade’s experience in servicing high-end clientele. Having worked in golf for nearly double that period, they have an unrivalled level of expertise. As a European Tour pro for over a decade, Hurd’s insight into the world of professional golf gives SGH an obvious advantage, having developed an insight and a vast network of contacts that allow his clients an inspiring glimpse into the mind-set of the men

on the course. What’s more, his knowledge of Augusta’s delicate nooks and crannies provide his clients with an experience only SGH can provide.Having established themselves on the market with their 2015 excursion to the US Masters, SGH have formed a partnership with 2010 Ladies’ British Amateur Champion and two-time Curtis Cup winner Kelly Tidy, who will work as an ambassador for the 2016 Masters Tour and beyond. Her knowledge of the current golfing landscape, coupled with the considerable know-how that already exists at SGH, makes for an exciting partnership.
